Stevie Stilt is full of energy, excitement, adventure, unsure of his place, always having to conform to other people’s rules and afraid of the unknown. Pretty typical for an 8-year-old boy – EXCEPT - his best friend has a wheel from the waist down!
In a world where “normal” is strange, and people have stilts, wheels, and tracks- instead of legs, Stevie finds himself in tough situations that kids face every day. Bullies, peer pressure, and an annoying older sibling. Will he be able to overcome his fears and find out that life’s scary things are usually not as bad as we think? Or will his fears keep him from having fun with his family and friends? One thing for sure: His life is a magnificent and sometimes frightening adventure!
